This and That
by K Ralston on 03/23/23
About this design:
This is a bracelet that I started some time ago. I found it in a box. All it needed was a few loose ends worked in. How lazy am I? I didn't even finish that little bit. But wait, there's a little more in the next image.
Components:
Crystal beads and a bunch of those clear 6/0 spacer beads they put on strands of beads to separate them. I always think there has to be a use for them. Also crystal faceted bead for the clasp, and beading thread.Read the comments (or add your own)

K Ralston says:I also made these earrings today. They should have taken 30 minutes but took all day because I kept messing up, Plus this .005 dark Fireline is like beading with cobwebs. Never again! Plus Mr Romeo has to be on top of mom at all times. Here’s a picture of him with mom not exactly looking my best. When I used the flash to take a picture of the bracelet he totally panicked. He’s coming along, but he’s a very nervous guy. I’m also going to upload a picture of a fantastic bead. I literally spent $54 on a bag of miscellaneous stuff just to get this bead. Any ideas on what to do with it?

K Ralston says:Romeo and a very expensive bead.

Althea A says:I had a similar type of bead, although not as beautiful as your red bead, and I used it in a really simple design so as not to distract attention from the bead.

Althea A says:You may have messed up while making the earrings but they sure turned out to be perfect. They are really gorgeous.
Romeo is looking good. I remember when you first rescued him.

K Ralston says:That is a pretty bead Althea. I think you are right. Whatever I do with this bead should not be so much that it detracts from it. I’ll think about it for a while.

sweetjane says:This bracelet is exquisite!! Romeo must be a great companion. The red bead could look good in a lariat type necklace…with a lot of chain, and some beads.

Little Round Chick says:Unique bracelet, great ear rings, fabulous red bead and fur baby Romeo…. What a terrific combination of this-es and that-es.

Stingray says:I love the earrings very statement/elegant. Nice bold cuff bracelet, too. I like to keep the strand spacers, too, but I’ve never done anything as fancy with them.
