These are gorgeously stunning! The layered look is perfect from the 3D mountains to the gorgeous pine trees at the base of the mountains. I could almost smell the line scent from the trees! What kind of paint did you use?

It doesn’t seem to want to post. I used wood earring blanks. I painted them with alcohol ink pens: fresh yellow, deep yellow, pale green, dark green, olive, ice blue, potato brown . Matte acrylic spray. I’ll use antique brass findings

Robin, these are absolutely incredible! The mountains & trees are so very realistic & beautifully done–amazing painting skills. From raw blanks to the beautifully captured spirit of the mountains–this is true artistry. Is this a view from your house? It is wonderful to see your posting, and I do hope your health issues resolve and you find the desire to keep creating. Your work is always so special. Take care.

CC, no, it’s not a view from my house. I live in east Texas, piney woods. There’s not a mountain in site. I wish there was! We had several tornadoes touch down in our small community last Tues. It looks like we were bombed. Thank God my house was unscathed. Every house around us has trees on their roofs. We are truely blessed!

Oh Robin, I am so sorry to hear about the tornadoes. I am glad your house was spared. Those types of storms can be so puzzling as to what stays & what is hit. So many natural disasters taking place across the globe. These truly are perilous times.

These earrings are beautifully done. The alcohol inks give your detailed mini masterpieces a luminous quality.

Wonderful color and an absolutely beautiful design! What size brush did you use… one with 2 hairs? :)

    LRC, actually 3 hairs
