Desert Winds Bracelet version 2
by Andria Bieber Designs on 09/18/23
About this design:
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
5 ft of 1.5mm leather cord
1 ft of 5mm flat cork cord
1 Nepalese focal smaller rectangular onw
1 ribbon crimp ends
2 jump rings
1 lobster clasp
Components:
trim cork to 12 inches slide cork and leather cording together through large loop on connector. You will have 6 inches of cork on each side of pendant & 2 1/2 feet of leather coating on each side. You want to have extra cording as well so you have room at the end for Clasp. Also, this can be adjusted for your size. For example, if you want a 9 inch bracelet you would want 7 inches of cording. Step 2: Tape down your focal on a flat surface to stabilize it. Wrap the 1.5mm cord around the flat cord twice. The 1.5mm cords should be over the top of the flat . Pull them tight. Cross them over each other. Step 3: fish tail braid ( I will have a separate video on detail on this. Once you have brought the cord around cross the 1.5mm cord over the top of the flat cord. Bring the 1.5mm cord under the opposite sides of the flat cord, then up and over. Pull tight. Keep pushing the cords up at an angle tightly so you get a nice clean fish tail pattern. I’ve pushed up each loop with my fingernail & pulled tight to keep the pattern in place Step 4: Continue doing this until you have reached your desired length. Leave a 1/2 inch of end cut all cord ends flush. I added a little super glue on the ends for extra security. Step 6: Crimp on your flat ribbon end with pliers. Attach your jump rings & lobster clasp. Add beads if you so desire charms & you finished. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out & check out my Instagram or YouTube for other tutorials!Read the comments (or add your own)

JenJouterie says:I like this version(2) with the single termination for the clasp.it would be easier for arthritic fingers.
