Turquoise Inlay

About this design:

My first inlay experience. Lesson learned: don't inlay (when you have to file) on a plated piece. It turned out looking pretty cool, and the base metal was pewter, so I wasn't too worried about it. Sold at the show.

Turquoise, Plated Pewter Ring, Loctite glue (my absolute favorite!)

Wow! This is beautiful! I certainly see why you sold it so quickly! I’d love to try inlay – is it difficult?

It’s not too difficult, but I need to use a pointed file tool, like a tip on the end of a dremel, so it doesn’t mar the metal setting so much.
