Last one b/c it is hard to list with a cat on your mouse:)

About this design:

(not to mention this particular cat has learned how to hit the "sleep" button on my keyboard!) I love this gorgeous orange calcite pendant! And then I found these beautiful rainbow agate tumbled nuggets and a necklace was born:) And that is the way of most of my work - the beads seem to find each other and I just follow their lead. (my husband actually prefers I not tell too many people that beads "talk" to me:) Added to the stones are tiny round gold finish spacer beads and shimmery dark golden brown 6/0 Czech glass beads. The clasp is a heart shaped Bali style toggle.

Kathryn, this is just gorgeous (and I am not an “orange person” — LOL)! I agree with Anita about the pendant — you did a fab job with the hanging and the detailing. Love the clasp, too. :D

Kathryn, thank you very much for telling how you usually create designs, this one turned out wonderfully – the fantabulous orange calcite pendant is accentuated beautifully the way that you attached it to the rest of the necklace, as the “star of the show”! :)

To echo everyone else i love the way you created your own “bail” for the pendant!

Just to clarify — I love the color orange — it just looks hideous on me. :-(

Lynn – I had to laugh when I read your comment – Orange is not a forgiving color on me either – I envy people who can carry off colors like this :-)

I look like an ugly pumpkin when I try to wear any shade of orange clothing. :-(

I see all these gorgeous gems in shades of orange, but I always pass them by…….Sigh.

Kathryn, this is a stunning piece! Love the pendant, and love the unique way you showcased it! It sure is nice when the beads talk to you, isn’t it? So much easier to create when they do! :D

I cannot remember if I actually thanked all of you for the incredibly generous comments when I listed some pieces or if I just thought about it (a mind is a terrible thing to lose:) but if I didn’t, please let me do so now. There is such talent and artistry in this garden that I was nervous about even putting something up and you were so kind and complimentary that you just gave me incredible encouragement. Thank you so much.
