Tricotage Français Avec des Perles

About this design:

The other day I found my French knitting spool (also sometimes called a nifty knitter, knitting nobby, knitting Lizzy or knitting Nancy). I pulled out some 24G brass wire and tried it on the smaller end of the knitter. This is a short practice piece, wound into an oval, then pounded flat with a hammer. I then suspended 2 FWP on a brass wire through the center and wound in the ends and finished the pendant with a bail made from 20G brass wire

Katherine, this reminds me of the bird’s nest pendants several of us made almost 2 years ago, except we did ours by hand! :D

Your wirework is wonderful and I love your choice of “eggs” for this! :D

This is great, K H! Love the wirework (even with the help from the knitter!), and the soft green pearls just glow in the nest! So cool! :D
