I fully agree, Smart Chick, sometimes beads just need a good talking to to get them back in line! ;)

I do that too, Smart Chick!! I had good luck with mine today! But, I tried to download pictures, after 4 tries, I’m talking back to this darn contraption!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!………….. Can you tell I’m NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!

    Anita and CAS,

Let’s just say, I have had my cats walk over my beading trays while I was beading, and/or come over to investigate what those “shiny objects” were that I was spending time on, LOL…and WHY wasn’t I PAYING ATTENTION to THEM?? then I hadda talk to my cats :)

thanks for repeatedly trying to download pics of your jewelry, I know they’re gorgeous just from the Picks you create.

I love the photos we share of our creations – too bad it’s sometimes so frustrating to share these pics. CAS, would like to see photos of your creations too – I know, I havent shared mine either, just the one piece I repaired recently… gotta try to make some while I have my break between quarters these next few weeks…

Yes you do!!!!!!! We have to see some of those beautiful creations! Since you gave me such a long list of “must make” jewelry, it’s the least you could do. tee hee!

    J Yee smart chick says:

hee hee, yep… let’s see, I have some luscious aquamarine sitting around “nagging” me to make something :)
then I also have some rose quartz flower shaped beads
then I have “the usual suspects”, blue lace agate, rainbow fluorite and some rhodocrosite…

    we’ll see… :)

  6. CAS
    CAS says:

Smart Chick I thought you saw the pictures of the necklace I did the other day… Here are the pictures again just for you sweetie.

I was digging around in my box of gemstone pendants, and found a rainbow fluorite pendant I had forgotten I had. I thought about you when I found it, Smart Chick, because I know how you love fluorite. I guess I’ll have to get on the ball and make something with it now! :)

Oops… my apologies!! yikes, thanks for posting these here, sure appreciate it! I feel like sometimes I get in somewhat of a design “rut” with some of my Fav beads and colors, sorta like ordering the SAME dish whenever I go to a restaurant I like… that’s why I really like seeing everyone’s Picks cuz they help break me out of my design “stuck spots” and realize how limitless the possibilities are with beads…

  8. CAS
    CAS says:

No apologies needed! I get in ruts myself sometimes too, that’s why the picks are such fun. A way to stimulate the brain cells, by doing picks yourself or looking at the other “Chick” picks. I loved your picture of your “comfort” necklace, by the way, super crazy-cool!

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:

Chhicky Babe! I’m so glad you posted those pictures again because I missed them the other day. I love the pendant and use of chain. I hope to find some unique focal beads if I can get to the Long Island bead festival late April.

  10. J Yee smart chick
    J Yee smart chick says:

    Chicky babe,

love the mix of chain with the rest of your necklace, it’s unexpected given the center portion with the gorgeous lampworked pendant, pearls and other gemstone beads, really beautiful mix that supports the lampworked pendant well!
