Hypersthene beads combine a deep shimmering finish with great antique-like coloring. This stone is very classic and will work beautifully with any elegant design.

Hypersthene is a variety of a silicate mineral called enstatite that contains iron and magnesium. This gemstone has a lustrous, metallic brown and black woodgrain pattern. In some chemical environments, the mineral hypersthene weathers and becomes bronzite.
