Natural yellow agate is a plume agate, an agate variety containing fluffy, “plume”-like inclusions. Inclusions occur where iron oxide, manganese oxide, or other oxides are present when the agate is forming. Sometimes, plume agate inclusions resemble feathers, plants, or flowers. The plumes in our natural yellow agate beads are primarily a rich amber color, with some sections of white and chocolate brown as well.
