In our Fuchsite ruby beads, crystals of ruby are embedded in a fuchsite matrix, which makes for a gorgeous kelly green stone with patches of bright magenta pink. Some of these fuchsite ruby beads also contain patches of white quartz.

Fuchsite is a variety of the mineral muscovite. This stone has a pronounced green color due to the presence of chromium in the crystal. Ruby is a pink-to-red variety of the mineral corundum that also gets its color from chromium. Next to diamond, corundum is the hardest mineral on Earth!
