The 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt ended on Sunday, March 31st. Congratulations to all the hunters that were on the leaderboard at the end of the contest! It took a lot of determination, and your Gift Certificates are well-deserved :) The Gift Certificates were sent to your e-mail addresses today, so keep an eye on your e-mail for the details.
A special congratulations is in order for Brinna T, who was our randomly-selected Grand Prize winner from the Top 25 on the leaderboard! Your gift certificate is being sent via e-mail. Brinna had some marathon egg hunting sessions, right up to the deadline on Sunday night. I'm sure everyone near the top of the leaderboard can relate!
It takes a lot of work to put this hunt together, but it pales in comparison to the hours put in by all the hunters to find all those eggs. Thank you for making the hunt a big success again. Whether you found one egg or made it to the Top 25, we hope it brought you a little joy last week! If you ever have any feedback to share (good or bad), we'd love to hear it :)

Find the Easter Eggs we've hidden all over our web site. Get lots of great prizes, including Gift Certificates and a $250 Grand Prize, and tons of supplies!
Find just a few eggs, and you win! Choose from tons of prizes based on the number of eggs you've found. The more you find, the more prizes you can choose!
Where are all the eggs? Read below for information about where the eggs are hiding:
We've scattered the eggs in all corners of our website, with some exceptions. You won't need to hunt on pages under the following menu sections: "Supplies", "Artists & Brands", "Deals", "Latest", or the "Create & Learn" menu. When you use the main menu to look under those 5 sections, there is a friendly reminder in the menu drop-down that there aren't any eggs there. Everywhere else is fair game, and you need to be logged into your account to see all the eggs. For more specifics on where the eggs can be, see the FAQ below.
How hard is the hunt?
Even if you're just a casual egg hunter, finding 50 shouldn't be much of a problem. In fact, you can find a couple dozen eggs by visiting the links available in the main menu.
If you're going for the top prize levels, you'll have to be prepared to dig a little deeper to find the eggs. You don't need to drive yourself insane (see below), but your family might wonder where you disappeared to.
Once you've found 100 eggs, it's all about your competitive spirit. If you want to stay on the leaderboard, or if you have your eye on some great prizes, you'll need to scour thousands of pages on the site! Warning, craziness may ensue :)

The 15th Annual Easter Egg Hunt is ON! Get your egg-hunting gear ready, and start the madness 😜... This year, we'll be posting updates here a couple times a day with announcements, tips, and plenty of encouragement. Good luck!

Hundreds of hunters are on the chase! Here’s something we hope will help. We updated the color of "visited" links to a purple color, to help you keep tabs on where you've been on our site (your browser keeps the history). This affects most links to products and categories from the listing pages. Keep on huntin’!

It’s Day 2, and tens of thousands of eggs have been uncovered by all the persistent hunters out there! We’ve gotten a few questions about "View All" links. See the FAQ below for info & pics, but here's a summary: all combinations of filters inside the light green filter box are fair game. Below the light green filter box, some pages have "View All" link next to "Page 1 of X"... You do not need to click that "View All" link.

Day 3 is here! There are some familiar names on the leaderboard, and some new ones, too! If you’re new to the hunt, don’t get discouraged if you aren’t climbing the leaderboard as fast as you’d hoped. Our website is pretty big, so you may have to visit lots of pages between eggs (the veterans here call that an egg drought 🤣). When enough is enough, remember to visit the prizes page and make your hard work worth it!

As we approach the weekend, here is an egg-citing fact: We have over 1,000 hunters this year that didn't participate last year! Long-time hunters, you have some competition for the leaderboard 💯 One question that’s come up a few times has to do with individual product pages. Yes, some eggs are hidden on individual product pages. If that's way too much hunting for you, you're not alone… lots of hunters are cashing in their eggs for prizes today. Speaking of prizes, remember that you have to place your prize orders by Sunday night!
Stay tuned for daily updates from the Lima Team...
Have questions? Please read the daily updates, the FAQ, and the rules. The most common questions are answered in those spots. If you still have questions, send a note to our team.
The Leaderboard shows the top 100 hunters. Get on the leaderboard and compete for the Grand Prize! At the end of the hunt, one lucky egg hunter in the top 25 will receive a $250 Lima Beads gift certificate in a random drawing. Everyone else on the leaderboard when the hunt ends gets a $20 gift certificate! So get hunting!

No. We didn't hide any eggs in areas that require an additional click/tap/swipe to reveal the egg. Once a page with an egg is loaded, you should be able to scroll down and find the egg—no additional actions necessary. Just scroll, find, and repeat :)
No, you do not need to access "View All" links to find eggs. It is possible that you might find an egg on a "page 2" of a category listing (or page 3, etc). But you don't need to click on any "view all" links.
No, that will not help you find additional eggs. You will never have to re-sort products on a page to find eggs. That would just be too cruel :)
Yes, if you're trying to find all the eggs, you'll need to use the filter options in the light green filter bar on category listing pages. Using one (or a combination) of filter options will take you to new pages, which may lead to eggs. This includes filters with the word "all" in the name. If you're trying to find all 300 (yikes!), you'll need to look at all filter combinations.
Yes, there may be eggs on "page 2" or "page 3", etc. (Remember, though, you never have to use "View All").
Different this year! This year, there is a strict limit of one egg per page. In the past, we had a couple sneaky pages where you could find 2 eggs. But that's not the case this year.
Our website is pretty big, and there is sometimes more than one way to get to the same product or page. For example, some focal links are listed under the Charms & Pendants menu, but also in the Findings area. Technically, each egg is only in one place, but you can find some of them in multiple ways.
You can think of a page on the website as anything you can get to by clicking a link or a picture. Here are a few examples of different pages that you can find eggs on:
Yes, there are areas of our website where you won't find any eggs. You don't need to look at pages under the following menu sections: Supplies, Artists & Brands, Deals, Latest, or Create & Learn.
Yes, make sure you are signed into your account when hunting. We need to you sign in so we can keep track of the number of eggs you've found.
The contest ends at 11:59pm US Pacific time on March 31, 2024 (Easter). This means you need to make sure and do the following by this time:
Collect all the eggs you can find.
From the Prizes page, add the prize(s) you want to your shopping bag and place your order—all prizes must be redeemed by the end of the contest. These gifts are available while supplies last, so we don't recommend waiting until the end of the hunt to redeem them. Normal shipping rates will apply when placing an order that includes a gift.
Watch this page for an announcement about the grand prize gift certificate drawing on Monday, April 1.
There are a total of 300 Easter eggs that we've hidden for you to collect. Those are the only ones that count toward the prizes, and you must click on them to collect them. You might see some picture of eggs in promotional materials (like the ones in the grass at the top of this page)... those don't count toward your total.
We can't offer rain checks on the prizes, so make sure to place your order when you've unlocked the prizes, because they're only available while supplies last!
We think we have enough free beads to go around... but in case we run short, we reserve the right to substitute a product of equal value as your prize (hey, it's free, right?) :). We also reserve the right to update this list of rules if it needs clarification later.
Normal shipping rates apply. As much as we'd like to, we just can't afford to give away free beads AND ship them for free, too. If you add your prizes to an order over $50, you'll get the same free shipping you always get (in the U.S.). For international orders, or if your U.S. order is under $50, normal shipping rates will apply.
Please don't share the locations of the eggs. This ruins the fun for everyone :) Also, you must find the eggs yourself, without the use of robots or other computer-aided tools to help locate the eggs. We monitor where and when all eggs are found, and suspicious activity will be recorded. Location sharers and robots will be disqualified from winning prizes! Gotta keep it fair for the rest of us!
