Dumortierite Gemstone Beads

Dumortierite is a wonderful stone because it closely resembles lapis and sodalite, but is much less expensive. When we first found this stone, the factory had it labeled as African Blue, but after much research, we've found that it most closely resembles Dumortierite. This stone combines the gorgeous deep blues of lapis and sodalite with streaks of white and even a few flecks of pyrite. It is named for a French paleontologist and is said to promote positive attitude, courage, and trust.
