Peruvian Amazonite Beads

Peruvian Amazonite is a light aqua color, with occasional jolts of bright turquoise. This stone also contains inclusions of an opaque to semi-transparent crackled white quartz as well as small black inclusions. We love the beautiful balance between the refined, delicate color and organic, natural shape of these Peruvian amazonite beads.

More About Peruvian Amazonite

Also known as Amazon Stone, this feldspar Amazonite ranges in color from light aqua to intense blue-green. Because of its color, Amazonite is occasionally mistaken for chrysoprase or turquoise. While much of the world’s Amazonite is mined in the United States, Africa, and Russia, smaller, rarer deposits have been found in Peru, South America.
