More About Peruvian Amazonite
Also known as Amazon Stone, this feldspar Amazonite ranges in color from light aqua to intense blue-green. Because of its color, Amazonite is occasionally mistaken for chrysoprase or turquoise. While much of the world’s Amazonite is mined in the United States, Africa, and Russia, smaller, rarer deposits have been found in Peru, South America.
