Seraphinite gemstone beads are a deep forest green that flash with iridescent streaks of lighter, silvery green. Our Seraphinite gemstone beads were mined in Russia, where most Seraphinite is sourced.
Seraphinite is a trade name for clinochlore, a member of the chlorite family of minerals. The name Seraphinite refers to the Seraphim, celestial beings in the Hebrew Bible. This is due to feathery, wing-like patterns created by silvery mica contained within the stone. The fibrous inclusions of mica exhibit chatoyancy, giving Seraphinite a pearlescent sheen.
Metaphysically, Seraphinite is thought to connect wearers to the spiritual realm.
