Angelite beads are a beautiful shade of light blue, and visually recall the soft qualities of velvet. They have a lovely finish that looks wonderful with the luster of freshwater pearls.

Named for its “angelic” coloring, Angelite is the lilac blue variety of the mineral Anhydrite (calcium sulfate). The name Anhydrite comes from the Greek word “anhydrous”, which means “without water”, as this mineral is the dehydrated form of Gypsum.

Angelite is often associated with the throat chakra. This stone is thought to promote inner peace and invoke spiritual guidance.
