Rutilated Quartz can be found around the world, but is commonly sourced from Austria and the United States.

Quartz often contains inclusions of other minerals. Rutile is a golden yellow to reddish brown mineral that is composed primarily of titanium dioxide. Quartz is a silicon dioxide, and the most common mineral in the Earth’s crust. Transparent quartz has a macrocrystalline structure, meaning crystals and grains are visible to the eye.
