Sonora Jasper Beads
Sonora Jasper was officially discovered within the last fifteen years - making this stone a relatively new addition to rockhound collections. Sonora Jasper is also referred to as Sonora Dendritic Jasper and Sonora Rhyolite.
It might not be a jasper at all, as it indicates resemblances to dolomite or rhyolite. Regardless of its true composition, this stone’s only known source is Sonora, Mexico. Sonora Jasper beads have incredible veining, or dendritic inclusions.
