I wanted to show a couple of ways to use this cabochon. I used a Vintaj filigree flower to frame it and I also show you a macrame net.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need waxed cord any size, a filigree flower, 1.5mm leather cord, and a cabochon.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

First I will show you how to ake the Vintaj framed cabochon. String your leather cord through the top of the flower.

Center your cabochon in the middle and use pliers to bend the petals over the cabochon. You could use a little glue for extra security.

Now to create the macrame net, cut 24" of cord and cut it in half. Create a not right in the middle. Then make two more knots an inch apart from the middle knot.

Then set in your cabochon and spread the cord open so the cab fits in the middle. Gather all of the cord ends and create a knot. Then I made a loop with the cord, then wrapped and knotted again to finish.
