More about Prehnite

Like spring tree buds, these beads are so very refreshing to behold. Prehnite is named for the 18th century Dutch Colonel, H. Von Prehn, who introduced the stone to Europe and the mineralogical community. Prehnite has soft light green colorations, and is transparent to semi-transparent in clarity.

Prehnite is a silicate made of aluminum and calcium. Prehnite crystals form in unusual clusters - often in radiating, round clusters.

Metaphysically, Prehnite is said to assist with dreams and prophecy.
