Recycled & Matte Glass Beads
These recycled glass beads are tumbled, which makes them look like beautifully aged sea glass. The main identifying characteristic of sea glass is its slightly frosted appearance due to physical and chemical weathering. Due to a variety of factors, authentic sea/beach glass is becoming rarer and harder to find (one such factor: folks aren't littering glass bottles on our beaches as much any more, which we think is a good thing!) Each of these beads is tumbled into matte glass with "sea glass" finish to mimic the natural weathered-look of sea glass. It's real recycled glass, without the littering ☺
