Our PVD-plated components feature a rich finish with 18k gold over marine-grade 316 stainless steel. The PVD process (Physical Vapor Deposition) uses a vacuum chamber to bond a layer of gold to the metal, creating a harder, longer-lasting finish than traditional plating. We’ve also made our PVD coating 25% thicker than the industry standard for even greater durability. The result is a waterproof, scratch-resistant, fade-resistant finish perfect for everyday wear.
