Pearlescent Wood & Resin Earrings

I wanted to show these wood and resin focals as earrings. They have a beautiful pearlescent shimmer that flashes in the sunlight.These have a fun, tropical vibe, perfect for summer.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need (2) 38mm wood and resin coins, (2) wood and resin daggers, (2) faceted 4mm gold beads, (4) faceted 6mm gold beads, (2) pairs of ear wire, (2) jump rings, and (4) eye pins. All of these will make both earrings.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

For the cowrie earrings slide the faceted gold beads onto your eye pin and create a bead link. Follow the tip below to create the perfect bead link.

Step 2

Attach the bead link to the jump rings (cowrie earrings), then attach those to the coin and ear wire holes.

Step 3

For the dagger wood and resin earrings you will need to use the wire to create a bead link. Slide on your 4mm faceted gold bead gold wire, take one end of the wire and slide it through the wood and resin hole. Then wrap your wire around to finish the loop. Take the other end of the wire and create a loop, then wrap the rest of the wire around and trim. Now attach the gold bead and dagger to your ear wire.
