These earrings are part of a series of earrings I have put together called "Non-Identical Twins". In this series, I explore how to make earrings match or go together without having to be identical. With this pair, I wanted the feeling to be light hearted and happy. I kept the same length chain for the main body of the earrings, which helped to keep the charms and geode in the same position. The only change was what happens at the top.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • 2 Gaea Ceramic geodes
  • 2 Jangles Ceramic small round disc
  • 18 Crystal faceted rondelle 4mm
  • 18 headpins
  • 2 leverback ear wires
  • 2 jump rings
  • 9" 2mm rollo chain

Helpful Hints:

Step 1

To attach the ceramic disc and faceted ceramic geode, I first needed to create my 6 charms out of crystal and string them onto a jump ring, which I then attached to the end loop of chain. The rest was simple, these ceramic beads had large enough holes for my 2mm rollo chain and the charms stop the ceramic beads from falling off.

Step 2

I used the same length of chain on both earrings, but on this one I have two pieces dropping down.
