I think the gold chain used in this necklace really makes the amazonite stand out, and the assorted cluster of beads in the center adds a nice pop of color.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Brazil Amazonite Side-Drilled Nugget
  • Madagascar Amazonite Faceted Rondelles
  • Antique Gold Hammered Jump Ring 13mm
  • Gold Headpins
  • Gold 22 Gauge Wire
  • Gold 3mm Jump Rings
  • Gold Chain Tassel
  • Gold Spacers
  • Gold 28 Gauge Wire
  • Gold Chain
  • Assorted Beads

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Make a bead link with the 22 gauge gold wire. Slide on 3 amazonite nuggets, separated by gold spacers.

Step 2

Attach the tassel to the bottom with a 3mm jump ring. I removed the top two beads of the tassel to make it a bit shorter.

Step 3

Using the 3mm jump rings, attach a 1/2" piece of chain from the top of the amazonite link to the bottom of the hoop. With the headpins, make bead charms with your assorted beads. Each charm should have 1-2 beads on it. Slide 3-4 charms onto a 3mm jump ring, and attach the jump ring to the chain. Repeat this until you have as many clusters as you'd like.

Step 4

Attach two 9" pieces of chain to the hoop with the 3mm jump rings. In between the two pieces of chain, wire wrap four amazonite rondelles around the top of the hoop.

Step 5

Cut the chain about an inch from the bottom. Make two bead links about an inch long with the amazonite rondelles and attach to the chain.
