For this necklace, I knew I wanted to use the lotus coin as the focal piece, along with some of these fun new Czech glass shapes. The color combination was inspired by springtime- I love how the blues & purples go together along with the pops of gold.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin with a 20" piece of beading wire. With a headpin, make a bead charm by sliding on a crystal rondelle, a gold spacer, purple teardrop, pink 6/0 seed bead, old spacer, lotus coin, another gold spacer, and a pink seed bead. Slide the beads & the charm onto the wire in the order shown in the picture.

Step 2

Bring the two strands together and secure with a crimp. Make a bead charm with a crystal, a gold spacer, and a purple teardrop. Use a jump ring to attach the charm above the crimp so it hangs in the loop.
