I love working with seed beads and trying out new color combinations, so these cuff bracelets are perfect for doing just that! They're very simple to make- you just need wire & seed beads. I used thicker wire to make the cuff, and then you just slide on the seed bead links.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Wire (20 gauge & 24 gauge)
  • Seed Beads
  • Chain
  • Jump Rings
  • Lobster Clasp
  • Round Nose Pliers

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin with two pieces of 20 gauge wire- gently bend the wire around your wrist to achieve your desired length. With round nose pliers, make a loop on one end of each piece of wire. (You're essentially making two long bead links).

Step 2

Next, make bead links with your seed beads- any size will work, but they all have to be the same length. I used 15/0 & 8/0 sizes. I made 30 links, but the amount you make depends on the length of the bracelet.

Step 3

Slide two 8/0 seed beads onto each wire, and then slide on the bead link. Continue all the way around the bracelet.

Step 4

To finish, make a loop at the end with the round nose pliers. You can either leave the bracelet as is- I found that it didn't slip around while wearing it, but if you want it to feel more secure, you can attach some chain & a clasp.

Step 5

To make the smaller bracelet I began my making tiny coils with the colorful wire. I found it easiest to do this on the tip of the round nose pliers.

Step 6

Slide the coils & seed beads onto a piece of 20 gauge wire.

Step 7

To finish, use jump rings to attach chain & a clasp.
