Coconut Palms Necklace

I love how the coconut beads and the rattan ring together create a larger focal. I had to add a pop of color with the turquoise enamel chain. This is a simple summer to fall design.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need coconut beads, dashed rattan ring, 2ft turquoise enamel chain, 2 brass jump rings, black waxed cord, and 2 African brass rings.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

First, I wrapped the waxed cord around the rattan focal a few times and made sure it was centered. Then created a knot at the top. I strung the coconut beads on each side of the rattan ring, then wrapped the cord around the African brass ring. Knot the cord tightly to finish. Then attach your jump rings to the chain and African brass ring. I made this necklace long enough to slip over my head. If you want it shorter you will need to add another jump ring and clasp.
