I love anything that combines seed beads & layering! I wanted to make a colorful, layered necklace while still trying to keep it looking delicate- so I used tiny seed beads & chain to make four separate necklaces. I love the way the blues look next to the gold, and the charms help to add another element of interest.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Seed Beads (11/0 & 8/0)
  • Beading Wire
  • Crimp Tubes & Covers
  • Lobster Clasps
  • Gold Rounds
  • Gold Charms
  • Gold Jump Rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin with your desired length of beading wire. I made each necklace approx. 14.5-15" long. Make a small loop at one end & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide the beads onto the wire in the order shown in the picture. Make another loop at the end & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Attach a lobster clasp & jump ring to the loops at the end. For some of the necklaces I attached chain to add length, and for others I used only seed beads & gold rounds. Use jump rings to attach the charms.
