Brighten up your wardrobe with this colorful, chunky gemstone nugget necklace. I used hemp to create a boho vibe and soften the look of the large nuggets.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need 1 1/2ft of chain, 4 half strands of large gemstone nuggets, hemp, soldered jump rings, waxed cord, (4) gold 4mm jump rings, glue, and a clasp.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut 2ft of the waxed linen, string the beads on in the order shown. Knot the waxed linen on both ends. Don't trim it yet.

Step 2

Take you hemp and cut a 1ft piece to go in between each bead. Tie the hemp into a knot between each bead wrap several times neatly then knot. Trim off any excess hemp and glue the knot for extra durability. Do this in between each bead.

Step 3

Wrap the waxed linen ends around the soldered jump ring several times and knot tightly. You can use the glue for extra security, if needed. Do the same to the other side.
