Project details:

I used Czech glass hibiscus flowers to create a colorful graduated bead link chain for this design. The colors exude tropical island vibes.

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need Czech glass hibiscus flowers of many sizes, 22-24 gauge wire, 2 jump rings, and one clasp. I recommend using round nose pliers.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut a 2.5" piece of wire. Put it in between your round nose pliers. Make sure there is enough wire sticking out the top to wrap three times (approx. 1"). Fold the end back over the pliers as shown.

Step 2

Now fold the end forward over the pliers. This creates a nice smooth loop.

Step 3

Wrap the wire around the other wire piece tightly three times. Trim the excess wire off.

Step 4

Slide the bead on and to the same technique Steps 2-3 on the other side of the bead.

Step 5

Cut another piece of wire and do steps 2-4 on one side the other side, take your wire and create your loop part of the way. Feed the wire through the first bead link you created.

Step 6

Take your round nose pliers and hold the loop so you can neatly wrap the wire around three times. Trim the excess. Keep doing this process until you have reached your desired length. Add jump rings onto the ends and a clasp to finish.
