Beadalon Silver (plated) Crimp Tubes for .5mm Stretch Cord

These crimp tubes for stretch cord are longer crimps made specifically to hold slippery stretch cord without knotting. Designed for 0.5mm stretch cord. To use, pre-stretch your elastic cord gently before stringing to help prevent future sagging or breakage. Then thread both ends through the same tube in opposite directions, crossing the strands inside. Pull both ends firmly to slide the crimp snugly against the beads with no slack. Using crimping pliers, first squeeze the tube with the second notch to curve it, then use the first notch to fold it tightly closed. Trim the excess cord and finish by leaving the crimp exposed, hiding it inside a larger bead hole, or covering it with a crimp cover or charm.
