Seashell Satchel

This is a great way to display a focal piece instead of just hanging from a boring jump ring. These are on trend and really easy to make.

You will need (4) 24" pieces of hemp, and a shiva shell and your hands:)

Lay all of your hemp pieces out and cross them over each other, take the bottom hemp piece and tie a knot around all of them with it.

Take two legs and knot them together, do that all the way around.

You should have 4 knots.

Now take one leg from one knot and another leg from the knot next to it and knot them together, do this all the way around.

Continue this until you are at your desired size. I kept placing my focal in the knotted area just to see how much I needed to go.

I stopped knotting just before the top of the bead.

Then I just knotted the legs of the hemp together and frayed them out. I added a jump ring at the top so I could hang it on chain.
