These porcelain rings are the perfect focal link for an ornament. Add a great crystal or agate focal to the the bottom and a handful of soft felt rounds to the top!
Cut 1' of hemp cord. Knot to your chosen focal. Wrap the hemp around the colorful portion of the porcelain ring approx 8 times, making sure to wrap on each side of the focal and equal number. knot the hemp on the underside of the ring, securing to the knot you tied on the focal. Trim of the excess cord, leaving .5" to fray.
Cut 18" of hemp cord. Using the same wrapping technique as above, wrap the hemp cord on the textured portion of the ring. Tie a knot to secure on top of the ring. Thread your cord through a #18 needle and string on your felt rounds. With the remaining cord create a series of knots until you have enough length to make a nice sized loop for the ornament topper. Tie your loop and you're done!
