For this necklace, I used leather cord and a Chrysoprase pendant to create a simple and easy-to-make design. I think the leather cord works great with these beads, and the amethyst & crystal clusters make the chrysoprase focal really stand out!

Supplies you’ll need:

Gold Wire
Crystal Nugget Rondelles
Teardrop Pendant
Gold Cord Ends
Gold Lobster Clasp
Amethyst Nuggets
Leather Cord
Gold Headpins
4mm Jump Ring
Rhinestone Rondelle
Brass Nuggets
Super Glue

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Fold a 16" piece of leather cord in half. Slide a rhinestone rondelle onto both halves of the leather so a loop is formed at the bottom. Using a jump ring, attach the teardrop pendant to the loop.

Step 2

On each side of the necklace, slide on a crystal nugget rondelle, a brass nugget bead, and another crystal. Tie a knot to secure them in place.

Step 3

Using the headpins, make bead charms with the amethyst nuggets & crystal nuggets. Attach to the same jump ring holding the teardrop focal.

Step 4

Move up the cord about 2", tie a knot, slide on a crystal, a brass nugget, and another crystal. Tie a knot to secure. Move up the cord another 2" and repeat.
