I made a similar necklace as this for my sister last year. She loves it! Using the fabulous Patricia Healey locket makes this necklace a little more unique rather than going with a standard locket. This is also a great focal to use for a longer necklace.

Supplies you’ll need:

4 3" lengths of copper wire
18" of chain
1/2"-3/4" piece of chain to fit through the bail on locket

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Turn your chain into a finished necklace by attaching a clasp. Since I picked a chain that is too thick to fit through the bail on the locket, we'll get creative with wire wrapping to attach the locket to the chain. Just clip the middle 1" of the chain (where the pendant will go). Wire wrap one end of the scrap chain to the main necklace chain, then slide it through the bail of the locket. Then wire wrap the other end, connecting the chains to form a completed necklace.
