Tribal Sunset Necklace

Project details:

in favorites

The possibilities are endless with these focal components! These two pieces felt similar to me, so I decided to stack them :)

Project supplies:

The products used in this project are listed below.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Wire wrap a bunch of combinations of charms using 3mm melons and Czech faceted teardrops.

Step 2

Lay out all of your components, charms & tassels. I recommend taking a picture.

Step 3

Begin attaching your charms using a jump ring.

See Tip: Closing A Jump Ring

Step 4

When you get to the tassels, slip a jump ring through the top just above the binding and attach to the focal. Sometimes it is helpful to slide a pin through first.

Step 5

Now that all of the charms are attached, lay your focals on your mat in the positioning you want them to be in for your necklace.

Step 6

Secure your bottom and top focal together using 4 double links of chain on each side. This chain is secure, has texture and is unsoldered. Open and close the links just like you would a jump ring.

See Tip: Closing A Jump Ring

Step 7

Finish your necklace by making 2 wire wrapped bead links attaching to the link loops on the top focal to the double cable chain. You can either make your necklace long enough to slip over your head or add a larger lobster clasp.
