This necklace is Inspired by the woods surrounding our home. I wanted to make an elegant collection of "woodland" treasures.

Project supplies:

The products used in this project are listed below.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Before you begin making your necklace, you will need to turn the leather feather into a pendant. I prefer to use Lima Studios 5-minute Crystal Clear Epoxy.
Apply your adhesive to the back top of the feather, fold over and hold securely for 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes have past, wire wrap to bind together.

Step 2

Lay out your design before attaching the pieces.

Step 3

Attach components to the focal using 4mm jump rings.

See Tip: Closing A Jump Ring

Step 4

Make your inner necklace by wire wrapping charms, drops and links. Attach the necklace chain to this focal by stringing the chain through an etched jump ring that is attached to the pearl link.

Step 5

To attach your large focal to the chain you will use 7 oval etched links on each side. Then make a wire wrapped bead link using an Aquamarine cut chip, attaching on one side to the oval chain and on the other side to the same small etched cable chain (from the inner necklace).

Step 6

Finish your necklace by making 2 more wire wrapped bead links, combining the ends of both necklaces. Attach one link to the lobster. Make sure to make the other link have a larger loop to attach the closure when wearing.
