Chandelier Drop Earrings

LillyPilly Designs created these colorful drop earrings using the new LillyPilly leather components. These earrings are light and easy to wear.
Supplies you’ll need:
2 Mini Teardrops
4 Mini Teardrop Inserts, same color
2 Mini Teardrop Inserts, coordinating color
2 Mini Teardrop Inserts, second coordinating color
8 5mm jump rings
14 4 mm jump rings
2 Earwires
Center Punch
Hammer
Hole Punch, 1.5 or 1.8mm
Chain or Needle Nose Pliers
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1
Mark hole positions on each mini teardrop insert as follows: one about 2mm from the top and three at the bottom, one centered and the others 5-6mm from the center and about 2mm from the edge. Use center punch and hammer to make an indentation over each mark. Punch holes.
Step 2
Mark and punch holes in the top of the teardrops. Use a 5mm jump ring to attach the top insert to the mini teardrop; add a second 5mm jump ring. Use a 5mm, 4mm, and 5mm jump ring to attach the center insert to the mini teardrop. Use 3 4mm jump rings to attach the outside inserts. (Figure 2). Add ear wires to the 5mm jump ring at the top of the mini teardrop.
