Turquoise Points Bolo Necklace
by Ali on 02/23/17
About this design:
While most trending bolos out there right now are made with the 3mm cord, the 5mm offers the great option of giving you a heavier look. I love pairing it with these deco point bezel slides and textured tips. I chose to cinch this bolo using an overhand knot; I think this best complements the design.

The products in this design are listed below.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: String your slides to the center of your cord. |

Step 2: Set up your necklace on your work surface and tie your overhand knot in its approximate place so that you can determine if you need to trim any cord off before glueing on the tips. Try to keep your knot nice and clean. |

Step 3: Decide how long you want to make your bolo necklace, then trim the excess cord. |

Step 4: Prepare your Lima Studios 5-minute epoxy. Quickly dap some epoxy onto your bezel and set the oval cab in place, applying slight pressure to secure. Repeat for the remaining 2. |

Step 5: As long as you are working quickly and the the epoxy isn't tacky already you can use the same epoxy mixed from above. Use a toothpick to apply epoxy into the tip, then stick your cord in. You may need to use another toothpick or pin to work your cord into the tip fully. See Tip: Make a Bolo Necklace See Tip: Using Epoxy with Cabs and Settings |
