Classic Acrylic Chain Necklace

About this design:

Tortoise shell acrylic has been a staple in my life since I began wearing eyeglasses in the 3rd grade ... large, thick tortoise shell glasses. Every little girls dream ;)

I have since learned to love this pattern/color for its classic appeal and ability to match everything. This necklace was so easy to make. I made 2 lengths of chain measuring 3.5" each. Then I just popped them onto the acrylic chain, added a large lobster clasp and Voila! This necklace is great layered with knotted crystals or gemstone necklaces.

Tortoise shell acrylic has been a long-time love object of mine, too. Love this necklace, and think I have to make it!

I’ve been wearing tortoise shell glasses for most of my life. I have a pair on now. This is a great necklace. I love it too. :)

I’m with Crystal Canary! I love light weight jewelry also. That’s why I use mostly 6mm gemstones. I love the tortoise shell look, even though I never had any tortoise shell glasses except for sunglasses. :)

since you also make the round woven beads, I sure wish you would make them out of all one color glass or crystal….be beautiful for Christmas in red or green or for Valentines. Is there a pattern for making the round woven beads so I could make my own. Love them.
