Leather Tiger Focal Necklace

Step 1

Begin by making two bead links with a headpin and 5 beads from the African Turquoise strand.

Step 2

Tie the leather cord to the bead links. I tied 2" to the bottom of the link & 4" to the top on the right side, and 3" on the top & bottom on the left side, but you can make it even if you'd like. Apply a small drop of glue to the knots so they stay secure.

Step 3

Next, string wire through the teardrop pendant with a drop bead in the center (I added two small 2mm crystal rondelle beads on either side of the drop, but that's optional).

Step 4

Make a loop with the wire and knot the leather cord through the loops you made. Secure with a small drop of glue.

Step 5

Attach the tiger charm to the bottom of the teardrop pendant with a jump ring. Finish by gluing leather cord ends to the ends of the cord and attach a jump ring and lobster clasp.
