This Mala necklace is made with fused glass, lava rock, and a quartz link in place of the guru bead.
5mm C-lon bead, 6mm clear fused glass, 6mm mint lava rock 6mm silver lava rock, tassel, gemstone link, jump ring, beading needle.
Take two 10' pieces of cord and tie them together in the middle with an overhand double knot, so on each side of the knot there will be two strands of thread.
On one side, string on 33 clear beads, 1 silver bead, 13 mint beads, 1 silver bead, and 6 more clear beads- tying a triple knot in between each clear bead, and a double knot in between each lava bead. The two stands of cord will fit easily into the hole of the clear beads, however you will need to use the beading needle to string on the lava rock.
Repeat the same steps on the other side. there should be 108 beads total. Tie both ends to the top of the quartz link, and secure with a small drop of glue. Using a jump ring, attach the tassel to the bottom of the quartz link.
