Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Begin with a piece of nylon cord that's six times the length you want your necklace or bracelet.
Thread the needle and pull it to the middle so you have a doubled cord, making sure the ends are even.
Step 2:
Thread the ends through the loop of your lobster clasp and tie a double knot, leaving a 5" tail.
Step 3:
String on 10 white seed beads (or whichever color you choose for the vine). Next, string on 7 seed beads in whichever color you'd like for the petals.
Note- I used 11/0 seed beads, therefore I needed to use 7 beads to make up a petal, but if you use a larger seed bead you would only use 6 beads for the petals.
Step 4:
To make the daisy, bring the needle up to the first petal bead and poke it through- coming from the top- in the direction pointing away from the clasp.
Step 5:
Pull the cord through slowly and snug and it will form a circle.
Step 6:
To make the center, string on one seed bead in the color you've chosen and pass the needle through petal bead number 4- coming in from the top in the direction pointing away from the clasp.
Step 7:
Pull gently until snug, making sure there's no space between the petals & the vine.
Repeat steps 3-6 until it's the length you'd like.
  Step 8:
To finish, send the needle through the soldered jump ring twice, and then back down through three of the seed beads. Pull gently to make sure there's no slack. Tie a double knot around the cord between the third and fourth seed bead from the clasp. Cut the cord to remove the needle, but don't trim the cord yet.
Step 9:
Thread both strands of the tail you left at the beginning onto the needle. Send the needle down through three seed beads. repeat step 7. Put a tiny drop of glue on the knots. Once dried, cut the excess cord.

I remember making these (over a decade ago) when I first started beading. They look good in an assortment of pastels.

It’s an excellent work, but I believe it could be made just a fraction more tight – if that’s the right word – by using a center just a tad bigger than the 11/0 beads.

Thanks for the very good instructions. In your example the petal beads in the photos are a little smaller than the vine beads. Did you use size 8/0 for the vine? I would rather use size 8/0. I find 11/0 too small for me to handle easily, although I could envision several made up in this size in different color schemes twisted around each other looking elegant, or sweet, depending on the colors.

Melody F- I used 11/0 for everything, but 8/0 definitely works too- you would just use 6 beads for the petals instead of 7.
