I love how this bracelet turned out, it has beautiful blue hues against the natural-looking nylon cord. I added the greek pewter fish tube to add detail, it can easily slide off if I change my mind;)

Supplies you’ll need:

You will need waxed nylon 1mm cord, Czech glass trica beads, 6/0 seed beads, one greek pewter tube, and one greek pewter button.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Take 3 24" strands of the cord then loop and knot the at the top. I used a clipboard to keep my strands secure. I separated the strand into pairs.

Step 2

Start your braid and add a bead at every braid arch.

Step 3

Keep braiding and adding beads to your desired length.

I added the patina tube after I braided the bracelet, it just slides on. If you want it permanently on, just braid it into the bracelet. When you are braiding and you get to the center of the bracelet, just slide 2 of the pieces of nylon cord through the tube and keep braiding.

Step 4

Square knot at the end to finish and add your button by knotting it on. Burn your knot ends to clean up any frayed ends and to secure your knots:)
