These Czech Glass Daisy buttons are a great focal element for any design. I think the gold and carnelian really make the daisy focal stand out. This design is quick to make, and can be lengthened to wear as a necklace as well.

Supplies you’ll need:

Czech Glass Wild Rose Coin (1 strand)
Czech Glass Daisy Button (1)
Carnelian Faceted Round 2mm
Gold Crystal Faceted Rondelle
Beading Wire
Gold Crimps
Lobster Clasp

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin with two strands of the beading wire, each about 7" long. String them through the loop on the back of the button. Take the two strands on the right and loop them through the button loop. Repeat with the two strands on the left.

Step 2

Pull the strands tight. The button should sit flat against the wire.

Step 3

String the crystal and carnelian beads onto each wire.

Step 4

After you've strung 7-8 beads on each wire, bring both wires together & string on a crystal bead, a Czech glass flower, and another crystal. Separate the strands again and continue repeating on each side of the button until you have your desired length.

Step 5

To finish, slide a crimp bead onto the wire, loop the wire though a lobster clasp and back down through the crimp bead. Clamp the crimp bead down with pliers. Repeat on the other side, but simply form a loop with the wire.
