I designed this necklace around this great Gaea ceramic focal piece. I paired it with Czech glass. porcelain, and bead chain. I think the combination of colors really makes the focal piece stand out!
Attach a 4" piece of the stringing wire to each side of the focal. I did this by sliding a crimp onto the wire, looping the wire through the loop on the focal and back up through the crimp, and then clamping the crimp down with pliers. optional I wrapped the loops on the focal with lilac waxed linen.
On each side, string on a Czech gold spacer, a green turquoise rondelle, and another gold spacer. Bring the two pieces of wire together and slide on a gold spacer, the blue rondelle from the Gaea set, a gold spacer, the polka dot bead, another gold spacer, a green turquoise rondelle, and another spacer. Separate the strands and slide on the beads in the order shown in the picture.
Attach each side to a 7" piece if brass chain & bead chain.
For the additional necklace, I slid the rose bead from the Gaea bundle onto a headpin with a gold spacer above & below it. Make a loop at the top of the headpin with round nose pliers & trim off the excess. Attach it to two 2" pieces of gold chain, and attach two 4.5" pieces of the bead chain to the gold chain.
