Golden Sunrise Necklace Set

About this design:

This week I knew I wanted to make a layered necklace so I could use as many shapes of these Greek Pueblo Ceramic beads as possible- I love the light blue with the Terracotta and how they add a unique & unexpected element to the design. For this design I used peach moonstone, porcelain beads, and gold focals.

What you’ll need: (buy products below)

  • Beading Wire
  • Leather Cord (1.5-2mm)
  • Gold Chain
  • Porcelain Beads
  • Gold Czech Spacer Beads
  • Greek Pueblo Ceramic Beads
  • Peach Moonstone Pebbles & Rounds
  • Gold Focals
  • Crimp Tubes
  • Lobster Clasp
  • Jump Rings
  • Glue-In Cord Ends
  • Super Glue

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Begin with a 25" piece of beading wire. Attach one end of the wire to a 4.5" piece of chain with a crimp. Slide the beads on in the order shown in the picture. Once you've finished, attach the other end of the wire to a 4.5" piece of chain with a crimp.
Step 2:
For the second layer, I used a 22" piece of light pink leather cord. Slide the beads on in the order shown and tie a knot on each side to secure. Finish with glue in cord ends.
Step 3:
Attach a 3.5" piece of beading wire to a 7.5" piece of chain with a crimp. Slide on the beads in the order shown. Attach the other side to another 7.5" piece of chain with a crimp.
