For this design, I wanted to create a simple necklace that would accentuate this beautiful Peach Moonstone focal. I think the light blue of the Chalcedony has a calming effect when paired with the golds & browns, and the champagne CZ adds just enough sparkle.

Supplies you’ll need:

Gold Chain
Gold Disc Chain
Peach Moonstone Teardrop
Beading Wire
Gold Crimp Tubes
Gold Jump Rings
Gold Lobster Clasp
Brass Rice Beads
Chalcedony Rounds 5-6mm
Gold 22 or 24 Gauge Wire
Champagne CZ Faceted 2mm Rounds

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

With the wire, make a bead link with the moonstone drop.

Step 2

Attach a 2.5-3" piece of beading wire to each side of the link & secure with a crimp tube. Slide on 25 Champagne CZ rounds. Make a loop at the end & secure with a crimp tube. With a jump ring, attach a 2" piece of disc chain to each side of the link. Attach the ends of the CZ strand and the chain together with a jump ring.

Step 3

With the wire, make bead links with the brass rice beads & the Chalcedony rounds. Attach to the gold chain. Finish with a lobster clasp & jump ring at the ends.
