Cabernet on the Bay Necklace

For this layered necklace, I used these new Czech Glass petal drops to create a simple focal element. I love how the amazonite looks next to the gold & purple beads, and the ruby adds a nice pop of color. For a quick way To dress up the gold chain, I placed seed beads onto jump rings & attached them to the chain links.

Supplies you’ll need:

Beading Wire
Gold Crimp Tubes
Purple 11/0 Seed Beads
Gold Jump Rings (3mm, 22 Gauge)
Gold Chain
Ruby Pink Agate Faceted Round 3mm
Madagascar Amazonite Faceted Round 3mm
Gold Lobster Clasp

Sweet Mint Tiny Thread Tassel

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Begin with a 10" & an 8" piece of beading wire. Attach the 10" piece of wire to one end of a 12" piece of chain by securing with a crimp tube. Slide The beads on in the order shown in the picture & attach the wire to the other end of the chain.

Step 2

Repeat step 1 with the 8" piece of wire.

Step 3

For the chain, I slid an 11/0 seed bead onto a 3mm jump ring & attached it to the chain link. Repeat all along the chain. I also used headpins to make bead charms with the amazonite & ruby, and attached those directly to the chain.
