Dancing Dahlia Earrings
by Elaina at Lima on 08/27/20
About this design:
For these statement earrings, I used an amazonite teardrop as a focal topped with clusters of gemstones, Czech glass, & seed beads. I love how the different shades of purples & blues look together and how fun they are to wear- a great addition to a simple outfit.
What you’ll need: (buy products below)
- Russian Amazonite Teardrop Focal
- Assorted Czech Glass, Seed Beads, & Gemstones (see below for the products I used)
- Headpins
- Earwire
- 3mm Jump Rings
- Gold 24 or 22 Gauge wire
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Using wire, make a bead link with the Amazonite focal. With a jump ring, attach a small piece of chain (less than an inch) to the top of the focal. Slide the top of the chain onto an ear wire. See Tip: Make a Wire Wrapped Bead Link |

Step 2: Using the headpins, make bead charms with the Kunzite nuggets, Amazonite rondelles, garnet faceted rounds, Czech glass rose bicones, & the seed beads. |

Step 3: Slide 2-3 charms onto a jump ring & attach to the chain. |

Step 4: Repeat until the chain is full of bead charms. |

Step 5: Attach two small pieces of chain & a bead charm to the bottom of the focal. Make two more bead charms & attach to the bottom of the pieces of chain. |
